Gandel Genomics Centre
The Gandel Genomics Centre was established in 2005 to acknowledge funding support from the Gandel Charitable Trust to establish capillary DNA Sanger Sequencing. DNA Sequencing enables researchers a greater insight into gene structure and function, providing critical information for improving the diagnosis and treatment of disease.
The Gandel Genomics Centre provides a Sanger Sequencing service utilising Applied Biosystems 3130xl Genetic Analysers that generate sequence read lengths of over 1,000 bases. The Sanger Sequencing service is NATA accredited and complies with ISO 15189:2013.
