Gandel Charitable Trust Sequencing Centre
The Gandel Charitable Trust Sequencing Centre was established in 2005 to acknowledge funding support from the Gandel Charitable Trust to establish capillary DNA Sanger Sequencing. DNA Sequencing enables researchers a greater insight into gene structure and function, providing critical information for improving the diagnosis and treatment of disease.
The Gandel Charitable Trust Sequencing Centre provides a Sanger Sequencing service utilising Applied Biosystems 3130xl Genetic Analysers that generate sequence read lengths of over 1,000 bases. The Sanger Sequencing service is NATA accredited and complies with ISO 15189:2013.
