ACRF Centre for Cancer Genomic Medicine
The ACRF Centre for Cancer Genomic Medicine was established in 2010 through generous funding from the Australian Cancer Research Foundation (ACRF), which enabled the introduction of Next Generation Sequencing technologies. ACRF support enables us to pioneer innovative research that will lead to significant outcomes in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of cancer.
The Centre provides Next Generation Sequencing services utilising the latest Illumina HiSeq 1500 and Ion Torrent systems. Services also include DNA/RNA analysis utilising the Agilent Bioanalyser and DNA shearing using the Covaris.
